Paris is big city, and it can seem overwhelming at times. This trip Laurie and I have watched for quiet places in this often noisy city. Here are a few we've found.
A passage in Faubourg St. Antoine.
Another passage. This street is an impasse, which sounds so much better than
"dead-end"' eh?
Another "impasse." This and the one above are just off a busy and noisy main street through Faubourg St. Antoine.
A quiet street between two main streets.
A walkway in Autueil (pronounced just as it looks: "Oh-toy." Crazy language.)
This area is surrounded by apartments and businesses. It even had a pea-patch, where people were raising vegetables.
Jardines des Plantes.
Waiting out the rain.
Garden of the Palais Royale.
